Pre & Post Natal Pilates

Pilates during Pregnancy:

Prepare, strengthen and give yourself time to discover your changing body during pregnancy.

We provide private one to one our fully qualified pre and post natal Pilates Instructor.

Pilates during pregnancy can help maintain stability, strengthen the pelvic floor and abdominal walls as well as promote postural awareness. It is proven that practicing Pilates during pregnancy can aid easier delivery and quicker recovery.

Pilates can help reduce some of your pregnancy symptoms by increasing energy, circulation and wellbeing. It also helps improve awareness and control of the pelvic floor in preparation for the birth of your child.

Post natal Pilates

Recover, tone and strengthen your body after birth.

Pilates can help you to rediscover your body after pregnancy in a safe and effective way.

Pilates quickens postpartum recovery as well as strengthening both body and mind for the demands of being a mother.

It is recommended that you wait a minimum of six weeks after delivery to start exercising again. However, if you have had a caesarean section, then it is highly recommended that you wait eight – twelve weeks before starting postnatal Pilates. Please always consult with your doctor or midwife before recommencing exercise.

We provide private one to one or small group sessions for our post natal clients. Our fully qualified pre and post natal Pilates Intructor will guide you through the process of getting back to your pre birth body and ensure you exercise at an intensity that suits you.

Hannah is brilliant at what she does. In a little over three months she has helped me close up a post-natal diastasis recti – abdominal gap – from three fingers to less than one. Her sessions are always challenging, but fun and focussed on getting you to reach your goals. I cannot recommend her highly enough, especially for new mums!
